When JFK was running for the Presidency, there was a public clamor raised about whether the election of a Roman Catholic would mean that the Pope would become the de facto leader of the USA.
Today we have two self-professed Roman Catholic candidates — Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum — neither of whom inspires such questions because what each of them “preaches” is contrary to both the Holy Bible and the teachings of the Pope.

What he expresses is both conservative and Christian, not what we hear from any of the GOP candidates.
